Power Surge is a city builder strategy game made in one week for the Big Mode game jam in January 2025. The game features a factorio-like system where players harvest resources and connect buildings with conveyor belts to generate new resources. The goal of the game is to create as much processing power as possible before the power surges take all your power away.
This was created with a team of five, and I worked on the buildings, conveyor systems, and UI.

Toy Defender: Defend the Toys is a tower defense with Twitch stream integration made in three weeks for a small-scale game jam in November 2024 that I organized with a small group of game developers. The game features multiple towers and enemies, and its main gimmick is the ability for the player to connect the game to a Twitch stream and allow users to send commands through chat to spawn in the game as enemies in waves.
This game jam had a team of six, and I worked on game systems, tower and enemy logic, game design and balance, and UI.

Pandora's Baseball is a 13 player online baseball simulator made for the Spartasoft November 2023 Game Jam. 12 players connect to a lobby and build baseball players with various stats that affect their performance, and 1 player connects as the host. When everyone is finished building their players, the host begins a game of baseball played by AI that control the players created by the audience.
This game jam had a team of two, and I worked on networking, baseball AI, and UI.

Hamster Fun Time is an asymmetric local multiplayer game made for the Spartasoft February 2023 Game Jam. One player plays as a hamster in a cage, and another player plays as an irresponsible child trying to shake the hamster cage. The hamster wants to platform around and collect cashews to press a red button three times to defeat the child, and the child tries to shake the cage to move obstacles around to damage the hamster.
This game jam had a team of three, and I worked on the hamster movement, collision detection, and level design.

Null and Void is a short third person platformer made for the Spartasoft November 2022 Game Jam. The player needs to reach three planets and quickly complete platforming sections before a timer reaches zero and the galaxy gets destroyed. Afterwards, the player fights the source of the corruption in space, and completes one final platforming section to finish the game.
I worked on this game jam by myself, and implemented the movement, level design, level gimmicks, UI, ship controls, and camera systems.

Square game 3D is a short metroidvania platformer made for the Spartasoft March 2021 Game Jam. The player starts with only the ability to move left and right, but upon completing challenges based on the player's current movement options, they unlock new movement abilities that they can use to access other areas. The final upgrade introduces the player to the 3D platformer portion of the game, which changes the player movement considerably.
I worked on a team of four for this game jam, and implemented the movement abilities and contributed to the level design.

Monster Mosh is a trick-based rhythm game made for the Spartasoft October 2019 Game Jam. The player needs to jump off of the monster wave to the beat of the song and perform tricks to keep the chaos meter from reaching zero. I worked on a five person team during this jam, and implemented the movement and trick systems!
